Cash Games
What is Rake?
Rake is the commission that a player must pay to us for organising the game. The rake is a certain percentage of the pot. At Betfred Poker, the Rake taken ranges from €0.01 to €4 depending upon the stakes at which you are playing and the amount of money in the pot.
No Flop No Drop Policy
Our 'No Flop No Drop' policy means that if a cash game hand ends before the Flop is dealt, we will not charge any rake whatsoever, regardless of how much money is in the pot.

Tournaments
What are Fees?
Similar to Rake, Fees are what you pay to us for participating in tournaments on Betfred Poker. The amount of Fee varies depending upon the type of tournament you are playing.
Tournament Types & Fees
Twister Tournaments
The Fee for Twister Tournaments is 7% of the total buy-in. For example, when registering for a Twister Tournament with a buy-in of €1, €0.93 of the buy-in will be added to the Twister Jackpot fund and €0.07 of the buy-in will be collected as the Fee.
Multi Table Tournaments and Sit & Go Tournaments
The Fee for both Multi Table Tournament and Sit & Go Tournaments is generally 9% or 10% of the total buy-in.
Clicking the info icon next to 'Buy-In ⓘ' on a tournament registration screen will display the precise breakdown between the prize pool element and the Fee.

All Poker games are played in Euro (€). In the Poker Client, your balance is shown in the currency of your account and currency conversions take place when, in Cash Games, you take a seat at a table and, in Tournaments, you register i.e.
