The Big Quiz

Who is eligible for this Offer?

• New and existing verified online customers can take part.

How do you take part?

• The Big Quiz runs every Tuesday and Friday at 21:00 UK Time from Friday 5^th January until Tuesday 17^th December 2024.
• The Big Quiz is free to enter.
• You will have the chance to answer up to 10 questions/statements, each with two possible answers – True or False.
• You will need to answer each question within the 10-second time limit and will receive 100 points for every correct answer and 0 points for an incorrect answer.

What will you receive?

• If you achieve a score of 700 points or more, you will win a share of the $2,000 cash prize pool.
• The share of the prize pool will depend on the number of winners (participants who achieve a score of 700 points or more).
• If there are no winners, the prize pool will roll over and be added to the prize pool in the next Big Quiz.
• All prizes will be credited in cash in the currency of account. Betfred does not bear any responsibility for fluctuations in currency exchange rates.

When will you be credited?

• All Prizes will be credited upon completion of the relevant Quiz. In the event of technical issues, prizes will be credited within 72 hours.

Are there any other limitations you should know about?

• The Big Quiz is a live game show and is presented by a live host.
• The Big Quiz is not a game of chance.
• The questions and the order of the questions for each Big Quiz are exactly the same for all players.
• You can join The Big Quiz at any point during the 10 questions, though after question 3 you will not be able to win a prize.
• Each Big Quiz is approximately 15 minutes in duration.
• The Big Quiz isn’t currently available through the iOS app but iOS users can participate by logging into Betfred via their mobile browser.
• The answers and questions as well as the sequence in which they appear are provided by an independent third party supplier, Alphabet Media Ltd, (Trading as The Question Co). Betfred does not bear any responsibility, and shall not be liable, for the outcome of the Big Quiz as a result of incorrect answers supplied by the third party supplier.
• Questions are asked one by one with approximately 30-second pause between them.
• In case of any technical problems that may affect the regular Game flow, The Quiz may be postponed or cancelled. Technical problems in the middle of the series of questions do not void The Quiz unless stated otherwise during The Quiz. Betfred will not be liable if, for any reason, any part of The Big Quiz is unavailable at any time, or for any period.
• From time-to-time, Betfred may restrict access to some or all parts of The Big Quiz to registered users.
• In the event that a winners’ account has been closed (by the player or by Betfred) prior to the award of the prize, and provided that the Player remains eligible to receive the prize under applicable law and Betfred’s Terms and Conditions, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the prize winner via email or other method.
• In the event that a winners’ account is deemed to be ineligible, Betfred reserves the right to withhold payment of the Prize and if necessary, award the Prize to an alternate entrant.
• This is a Playtech Network promotion open to multiple participating operators.

Can we change or remove this Offer?

• We may remove and change this offer without notice. These changes will not affect any offer that you may have already Opted In to, or placed any qualifying bets towards, other than where this is necessary to prevent fraud or other similar unlawful behaviour.
• Betfred reserve the right to withdraw the promotion, if required, for reasons beyond our control, such as system failures or supplier withdrawal (not exhaustive). In the instance that this happens, we will endeavour to communicate any withdrawal in a timely manner.
