When the bonus is triggered, the reels go into a re-spin feature where more Coins can be added to the reels. You have 3 lives to add more coins, each time a coin lands, the lives reset to 3.

Any coins that land in view stick and all other reel positions spin independently when you press spin. Once all lives are lost or the screen is filled with coins, you then move on to the race.

Each coin has a multiplier value on in that the player can distribute amongst the horses to boost the odds. Once all the coins have been placed, the race will begin.
