Opening an Account
How do I open an account?
You can open an account via our WAP site http://mobile.betfred.com, alternatively open an account here and follow the easy instructions. If you have any problems contact support@betfred.com.
Why do you need all my personal details?
For security reasons and to protect against fraud, customers must have an account with a unique username and password, a valid name, valid address, valid email and telephone number.
I already have a Betfred telephone betting/ internet account, do I need a separate account for Betfred Mobile?
Betfred operates a 'one account system' so all you need to do to activate your internet account is click here and register a username and password. For security reasons, you will be asked to confirm your account number and the last four digits of your card. If you require any further assistance please contact our customer services team at support@betfred.com.
Are my user details secure?
Yes, your unique username and password gives you protected access to your online account. Your password is unable to be viewed by any Betfred staff. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is kept secure and protected from unauthorised access. We also ensure that the privacy of personal information is maintained on disposal. To this end, all hardcopy (paper, etc.) documentation is shredded, and all information held on computer media is erased when no longer required.
Closing an Account
What if I no longer wish to use my Betfred.com account?
All you need to do is to withdraw any funds remaining in your account and then send an e-mail to support@betfred.com asking for your account to be closed. You will need to provide us with your user information and the answer to your security question.
