Can I belong to other affiliate programmes?

Yes. Betfred Affiliates is non-exclusive.

Can I use paid for search and keywords for Betfred to drive traffic to my site?

No. You cannot purchase or bid for keywords which include the word Betfred or variations of Betfred. This includes misspellings of our name.

Do I earn commissions on my own deposits or wagers?

We do not allow affiliates to earn commission from their own customer accounts, as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

How and when do I get paid?

Payments will be processed around the 10th working day of every month which means that you should receive your funds before the 20th providing you reach the minimum payment threshold for your selected payment method. The minimum payment for Moneybookers, Neteller and credits to a Betfred player account is set at 50USD. For UK and International Bank Transfer the minimum payment is set at 150USD.

How do I change my payment method?

You can change your payment method in the payment section of your account.

How do I earn commission?

Every Betfred creative that you place on your website will contain your unique site-ID. Every time a visitor to your website clicks on one of your banners, or links, registers as a new player and plays the promoted product (Sports, Casino, Poker, Bingo, Games, Lotto, Virtual or Mobile), you will have the potential to earn commission on any profit left by the player.

How do I identify the elements in my btag?

  • c_=ACID (affiliate custom ID – a unique keyword you can add on to your tracking profile and later run reports to see traffic generated by a specific keyword.

How do I join Betfred Affiliate Programme?

To become a member of Betfred Affiliate programme, all you need is a website and an email address. Then you need to follow our easy registration process:

How do I keep my affiliate account active?

We would expect you to send at least one new player per calendar month to us. If this is not the case we will review your circumstances and discuss this with you.

How is customer associated with my website?

Each link that connects your Web site to one of our products contains a unique tracking code. This code tracks impressions, clicks and records required data such as registrations, purchases made and play activity by your referred customers at the product’s site. This activity is recorded in our database and is visible in your affiliate account.

How long does it take to join?

Simply complete a quick online application form, detailing your website and contact information, and read and accept our Affiliate Terms & Conditions. Each application is reviewed individually within 2 working days.

How often are stats updated?

Your affiliate stats for each product are updated daily.

How to track my earnings and referrals?

By logging into our reporting interface area, you can monitor your daily traffic, earnings and referrals. Our “Reports” section enables you to generate detailed summaries of all your affiliate campaigns or view a quick summary of your account’s overall activity.

I forgot the password I registered with. How do I get it?

Please click on the link ‘Forgot Your Details?’ on the log-in page and follow the directions.

I have more than one website, should I apply again?

No. Whether you have one website, or 100 sites, you only need to apply once to Betfred Affiliates.

You can easily track multiple websites under one login. Our affiliate management area enables you to create a unique code for each of your websites. This makes it easy for you to view separate traffic, referral and earnings stats for each site.

If I have a player who signs up but they did not use the click-through on my site, can you change their referral ID to my account?

No. We do not allocate site-IDs post sign-up under any circumstances.

If I terminate my affiliate membership, will I be paid for my earnings if they don’t surpass your payment threshold?

You will be paid all earnings up to the point where your affiliate agreement is terminated. However, this will only be paid during the following month.

Is there a maximum to how much I can earn?

No, there is no limit to your potential earnings with us.

What commissions do I earn from each product?

Each Betfred product offers unique affiliate commission percentages and structures. Visit our commission’s structure page for details.

What do the different elements in a Betfred tracking code represent?

The btag is used to track any activity generated by customers that have registered through your site. It is made up of two elements; the site-ID is used to identify your site. The second part is your banner/creative-ID. A third element can be added to track keywords.

What happens if my affiliate account shows negative net earnings?

Nothing. You will not owe us for any negative earnings that may be generated by customers who have won. As a gesture of goodwill, negative earnings are now zeroed at the end of each month. In other words, if your account is showing a negative balance one month, this balance will disappear the following month and your earnings will be reset to zero.

What is a charge-back?

A charge-back is a monetary dispute between a cardholder and/or card issuer and a merchant.

What is a merchant/operator?

A merchant/operator is any website that sells a product or service, accepts payments and fulfils orders.

What is an Affiliate?

An affiliate is an independent website that promotes a merchant’s products or services. Affiliates earn a commission every time a referred player generates revenue for one of our online gaming merchants.

Where do I get my tracking code?

To get your tracking code you must first sign up to Betfred Affiliates. Once your application is approved you can log into the system and go to the “Banner Manager” section.

Your tracking code is provided directly from this section in HTML format. This code will be inserted automatically into the HTML for any marketing tools – such as banners, buttons and text links – that you wish to use. Simply copy and paste the code for the marketing tool your wish to use and paste it into the HTML of your Web site.

Remember – it’s important to test all tracking codes that you add to your website by clicking on them and verifying that this click is registered in your affiliate account.
